Middle & High School"Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity." - 1 Timothy 4:12
Come join us!
Baker Memorial UMC offers many opportunities for youth to be involved in the life of the church. Activities throughout the year involve 4th Sunday events, youth retreats, work trips, youth choirs, Confirmation classes, groups for middle and high schoolers. BakerYouth meet to play games, discuss current topics and learn about their faith and each other.
Youth Music Makers
Youth Music Makers is an exciting new program for kids in 3rd-12th grades to share their musical gifts with the congregation. Whether you sing, play an instrument, want to perform solo or in an ensemble we want to hear from you! Get more info and sign up here.
BakerYouth is very excited to have a time to Recharge each Sunday. You may ask, “What does that mean?” Well, it means that youth have a lot on their plate with school, extracurricular activities, and life in general. They need time to be able connect with God and with one another. They need a space to ask questions. They need encouragement.
Each 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Sunday at 10:30 am, we will have a space and time for the Middle School and High School to each have their own groups to Recharge.
During Recharge, the youth will have a relevant scriptural topic with a lesson, small group discussion time, prayer, and community building.
We will be using Orange XP3 Curriculum. Orange connects the Church and the Family, so there will also be parent resources. It is important to team together to be recharged on a consistent basis.
